I’m Sasha, a self-taught, elopement and wedding photographer in Texas with a love for dirt roads and mountain air and a flair for style. With my specialties lying in weddings and elopements, I work with my clients to adapt my aesthetic to their unique personalities and situations and capture moments that they feel seen in.
If you’re on the hunt for a Colorado mountain wedding venue that feels luxurious without trying too hard—a wedding at Perry Park Country Club is it.
Located in Larkspur, CO (just under an hour from Denver!), Perry Park is that kind of venue where the views do most of the work. Rolling green hills, a glassy lake, towering red rock cliffs, and a wide-open golf course? Yeah, it’s got the whole cinematic thing down.
And for Mayellen and Arman’s May wedding, it was exactly the right backdrop.
They met at an engineering frat party they both didn’t want to be at. Eight years later, he’s a doctor, she’s marrying her best friend, and I had the honor of capturing every second of it.
Their wedding felt classy, elevated, and timeless—but not stiff. Just scroll through their portraits and you’ll see what I mean: modern romance meets mountain views, with just the right amount of wind in the veil.
Fun fact? The forecast called for a low of 40s and a high of 70—so yes, spring in Colorado did what it does best: kept us guessing. But the light was perfect.
Here’s what makes this spot such a special wedding venue for Colorado weddings:

If you’re getting married at Perry Park, here are a few must-have photo moments that I believe you should absolutely NOT miss:
The Cave: There’s a hidden cave behind the ceremony area that makes for the dreamiest editorial shots
Golden Hour on the Golf Cart: Yes, take the cart. Yes, explore. The light hits different out there.
Drone Shots: The layout of the venue (hello, lake + cliffs) looks insane from above. If possible, have your photographer (or Me!) bring a drone!
All in all, I’d photograph weddings here again in a heartbeat. There’s just something effortless about it all—like the venue knew it was stunning and didn’t have to overdo it.
Mayellen’s gown? Total princess-meets-modern energy. Arman’s light blue suit? Chef’s kiss against the deep greens of the golf course. The bridal party? Looking like they walked straight off a Vogue editorial.
And yet, the day never felt performative. It was relaxed, intentional and full of joy. That’s my favorite kind of wedding to document—the ones that make you pause mid-shoot and think, Yep. This is exactly why I do this.
Want to know more about what I mean by cinematic wedding photography? I wrote a whole post about it right here.
