I’m Sasha, a self-taught, elopement and wedding photographer in Ouray, CO with a love for dirt roads and mountain air and a flair for style. With my specialties lying in weddings and elopements, I work with my clients to adapt my aesthetic to their unique personalities and situations and capture moments that they feel seen in.
Your Texas A&M graduation photos aren’t just about documenting the end of college, they’re about capturing who you are in this exact moment before everything changes.
And if you’re being honest… you probably don’t want photos that feel stiff, awkward, or like everyone else’s. You want something that actually feels like you.
Whether you’re going for something classic, fun, a little chaotic (in the best way), or a mix of everything—this guide will walk you through exactly what to wear, where to go on campus, and how to make your session feel easy and natural the whole time.

Hi!! I’m Sasha—the photographer behind Feeling Like a Senior—and also a current Texas A&M student… which honestly is kind of a flex when it comes to your graduation photos.
Because I don’t just “shoot here sometimes”—I actually live this.
I know which spots are worth it and which ones look cute on Pinterest but are a nightmare in real life. I know when campus is packed, where the light actually hits right, and how to move through locations without your session feeling rushed or chaotic.
But more than that, I get this season because I’m in it too.
I know what it feels like to be wrapping everything up, figuring out what’s next, and wanting photos that don’t feel fake or overly posed.
So when you book with me, you’re not just getting pretty photos, you’re getting someone who actually understands what this moment feels like.

Every session ends up looking a little different depending on your style, your outfits, and honestly just your personality—which is exactly how it should be.
The goal isn’t to copy someone else’s session—it’s to create something that actually feels like your experience here.

There are so many places you could take your graduation photos at Texas A&M…which is great, but also kind of overwhelming.
So instead of listing everything, I’m sharing the spots I actually recommend and shoot at all the time:
If you went to games, tailgated, or just loved the energy—this one’s kind of a no-brainer.
It’s perfect for:
This is where your photos feel the most Aggie.

If you want something more elevated and timeless, this is it.
The columns give you:

This one feels softer and a little more emotional.
It’s one of my personal favorites because it works really well with my style—more movement, more storytelling, less stiff posing.

Lowkey…some of my favorite photos don’t happen at the “main” locations.
They happen:
This is where things feel the most natural and less like a photoshoot.

P.S. Most sessions include 2–3 locations so your gallery doesn’t all look the same.
This is usually the part everyone overthinks. So here’s how I recommend planning it:
This is your “you’ll always be glad you have these” outfit.
Simple, timeless, and your parents will love these.

This is where things get more fun.
Perfect for Kyle Field and anything that feels a little more relaxed.

This is the most important one in my opinion…
Something you actually feel confident in. Something that feels like your style—not something you saw on Pinterest and felt like you should wear.
Because the difference shows in your photos immediately.

This is probably the most underrated part of your entire session…but it makes the biggest difference in how your photos actually turn out.
Like—same outfit, same location, completely different vibe depending on the time of day.

This is the hour right before sunset, and it’s what gives you that soft, glowy, cinematic look you see all over my page.
You’ll get:
Most of my sessions are scheduled around this time because it just makes everything look better without you having to try harder.

If golden hour doesn’t work with your schedule, midday is still totally doable—we just shoot a little differently.
We’ll lean into:
And this is where my editing style comes in to help balance out harsher light so your photos still look really good.
If you’re not sure what time to book, I’ll help you figure it out based on the locations you want and the vibe you’re going for.

The best photos aren’t just pretty—they actually mean something.
These are the “your family will frame these immediately” photos.

Going into nursing? Teaching? Business?
Bring something that represents what’s next—it makes your photos feel way more personal.
Anything that represents your life outside of school. Because you’re not just your degree.

No but like…actually do this.
I will fully hype up your dog the entire session and those always end up being some of my favorite photos.
If you’ve ever looked at senior photos and thought: “why do these look so awkward…” Same.
That’s exactly what I try to avoid.
I’ll guide you the whole time so you’re never just standing there like “what do I do with my hands”…but nothing will feel stiff or forced.
A lot of what I do is movement-based, which makes everything feel more natural and way less posed.
We’ll walk, laugh, adjust things as we go—and somehow you end up with photos that actually feel like you instead of something super staged.
You also get to choose your editing style, so your final gallery fits your vibe too.

I offer multiple senior packages depending on what you’re looking for, whether you want something simple or a full experience with multiple outfits and locations.
I also have a small team of photographers who shoot in my style, so you can still get this experience even if I’m not the one behind the camera.

I recommend booking your session at least 1–3 months in advance, especially for spring graduation.
Spring is my busiest season, and golden hour spots fill up fast—so the earlier you reach out, the better your chances of getting the date you want.
If you’re already thinking about it…this is your sign to go ahead and book.
Most seniors take their photos in their final semester, but you can honestly do them whenever it feels right.
Fall grads usually book in:
Spring grads usually book in:
If you want warmer weather + that glowy golden hour light, spring is the most popular.
Once you’re booked, I’ll help you figure all of that out.
Most seniors start planning:
You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Literally everyone says this before their session. I always say that I photograph people, not models.
You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll guide you the entire time so nothing feels stiff or forced. Most of my sessions are movement-based, which makes everything feel way more natural.
Yes—this is actually what I recommend. Most of my sessions include:
This gives you a gallery that feels more complete and not repetitive.
